Rob's Wedding

Randy's older brother Rob got married on December 22nd in Carmel.  It was a gorgeous, intimate wedding and Andrew was asked to be a ring bearer again!  The ceremony was at a little boutique hotel that is part owned by Doris Day, and just included immediate family. We were blessed to be able to join in this special day and wish Rob and Michelle lots of love and blessings for many years!

(Sadly our camera died right before the ceremony, so these are all shots from the iPhone)

Andrew's birthday party

The weekend before Andrew's birthday we had his birthday party.  The theme was Legos (which was a surprise to Andrew) and he absolutely loved it.  I had a blast planning the different elements and seeing how much I could come up with on a budget.

Saw this tip on Pinterest for letting cake pops set. Stick them inside your colander, genius!

So festive!

This is Halloween, This is Halloween!

This year was a big Halloween for Andrew, he went trick or treating for the first time! Usually we do the trunk or treat events at local churches (of course hitting up a couple special neighbors) but this year we were invited to a Halloween party with some crazy fun families and all the kiddos got to trick or treat in a huge group like we used to do back in the day.  The party was a costume party, so Randy and I decided I'd do Dia de los Muertos make up on us both. I had a hard time with the white face paint on both of us, but learned some tricks for next time.  Overall though, I think it came out pretty good for my first time and more importantly, it was a great night.

Fleet Week

In October we took Andrew & his friend Charlie to Fleet Week in San Francisco. This was Andrew's first time bringing a friend along on a trip and it was a total blast for him, as well as us. Loved spending time with the boys and seeing them interact and have fun.

Family Night

Later that night, we all went over the hill to San Jose for a family night. We decided on dinner at Red Robin (Andrew's favorite) and bowling at 300.  It was SO much fun!  300 is a beautiful bowling alley and totally modern - little things like the bumpers automatically coming up for the kiddo (if they want them), music videos and black lights make it so much fun.  Definitely a place we would go again (I'm even tempted to go for my birthday!).
