New Polish

We were at Valley Fair the week after Christmas to redeem a box Andrew could fill for free at the Lego store, and I needed some make up so we also swung by Sephora. The line was incredibly long, but they have the adult "candy" for you to browse while waiting (you know how grocery stores have all the cheap impulse buys right at checkout? Sephora has that for adults with little make up doodads, perfume, etc). Near the register was a bin of SEPHORA by OPI nail polishes that looked to be the holiday line, but really could work any time of the year. My eye was caught by a gorgeous copper with medium and chunky glitter and it was only $5! Definitely a steal.  

Finally got around to using it on Sunday, while it's gorgeous on it's own, I decided to layer it over a teal polish and it looked awesome!

Coffe dates

A new coffee shop opened up downtown, so Randy and I thought we would take our technology down and check it out. We both knew we liked the coffee & tea as their flagship store had been open for a few years on our side of town, but it was cool to go and just hang out and actually experience the coffee and the atmosphere verses grabbing a cup and coming back home.  

The Pacific Avenue location of The Verve is gorgeous. Open, airy, tons of seating, free wi-fi, amazing friendly staff, exceptional coffee and just all around amazing.  I can't stand the taste of coffee so I usually get a mocha with caramel syrup added to it in order to hide the flavor. This coffee is so well made that there is no need for anything to "cover" the taste.

Looking forward to another coffee date with Randy tomorrow!

Fall

This was taken before the official start of fall, but that morning at soccer was when it finally hit that fall was here.  It was a brisk morning with gorgeous, huge red and orange leaves scattered all over the ground. I had placed my coffee on the ground to set up my chair and couldn't resist the shot. Perfection.
